About This Quote

This quote is filled with cynicism and despair. It seems to be saying that we all do the same thing, talking about people we don't like until they become famous or successful then we love them. The irony of this is that at least some people who are hated by others are aware of this and exploit it. They deliberately make themselves focus on their victim's weaknesses in order to make them look bad, knowing that once they are popular they will be loved.
